Sophia – Snow shoot – January 2013

As the snow fell and dusted on the ground and trees with white magic I headed out into the field with little 3 year old Sophia.  She was very brave to venture out into cold but really enjoyed playing in the snow and spent the whole time giggling.  Here are a couple of shots from the shoot……

Laurent & Sarah’s wedding – 6th December 2012 – Aynhoe Park, Cotswolds

I was delighted to be asked to second shoot for Kate Hopewell-Smith at the wedding of Laurent & Sarah at Aynehoe House in the Cotswolds.  Kate is an amazing photographer and someone who I admire greatly so I was really looking forward to working with her.  Aynhoe Park  is a private house that can be hired out exclusively for functions and it is set in the most glorious English countryside in the edge of the Cotswolds.

The weather in December can be unpredictible at the best of times but luckily when Kate and I arrived early on the 6th December at Aynhoe Park it was brilliant blue skies and sharp fresh air.  I have not been to this venue before so for me it was a real treat as the house is filled with such unusual props and accessories – it was a real feast for the eyes. Burnham Beeches Family Shoot – Oliver & Jemma

Wendy contacted me as she was looking for a photographer to capture her two little ones having fun and playing in the natural surroundings.  I suggested heading over to Burnham Beeches in Bucks – its a gorgeous open woodland with lots of beautiful walks and sometime you can spot a couple of wild horses roaming around the woods too…..

Oliver and Jemma were extremely excited when I met them and couldnt wait to run around and explore.  We went on a little adventure and told a story as we went.  They both were so sweet and mischievous especially little Oliver – he was a real character.   We jumped off logs, run along wooded paths, played with the leaves and looked for bugs – it was a really fun afternoon….View full post »

Zac 4 months old – October 2012 – Mada Vale, London

I was delighted to be asked to come along and photograph little Zac – I knew the family well as I had taken a some family photos before of their daughter Zara and the last time I had seen them all Ayah was 5 months pregnant.  I headed up to Maida Vale in London and couldnt wait to finally meet baby Zac who was now 4 months old.   On arrival I could see he had definitely inherited the gorgeous looks of his parents – he was beautiful and very alert – he was interested in everything going on until right at the end of the shoot when I think all the excitement became too much and he nodded off in his Daddy’s arms.  It was such a lovely afternoon and I really enjoyed seeing the whole family again.

Herons Farm Pangbourne Wedding – Pauline & Gary’s Wedding

Pauline & Gary live in London but wanted to have a farm styled, vintage wedding in the country and after searching for various venues they came upon Herons Farm situated in Pangbourne, Berks.  It is very off the beaten track and set in beautiful countryside. After the “secret wedding” at Islington Town Hall the week before they were now going to cement their vows with an outdoor blessing with all their very close friends and family in a very intimate ceremony conducted by Pauline’s father who is a Minister.

Islington Wedding – Gary & Pauline’s Secret Allopment Wedding – Islington London – 30th Aug 2012

I met Gary and Pauline in a cafe near Notting Hill one beautiful spring Sunday morning.  I love London in the Spring when all the blossom trees are in full bloom and the mist is gently rising.  Gary and Pauline were absolutely lovely and told me all about how their wedding plans have changed a few times over the months and now they had come to a final decision to have their actual wedding at Islington Town Hall with four close friends as witnesses a week before their planned wedding blessing which was to be held at Herons Farm in September.  Pauline’s father is a Minister and would be conducting the blessing at Herons Farm in Pangbourne, Hampshire.  It all sounded so exciting – I loved the idea of a secret wedding too – so romantic…..
