I had the pleasure of meeting Pip from Grow Yourself Yoga at a day yoga retreat. She was running weekend yoga and mediation retreat in the New Forest and was looking for a photographer to document the retreat experience and tell the story of the weekend from the different yoga practises and meditation (both at sunrise and sunset), to the activities on offer from cooking classes, mindful art to beach walks as well as show casing the delicious lovingly made plant based food and the stunning accommodation not to mention the joyful experience the delegates had while attending her retreat and the fun, laughs, connections and friendships they made.
Warborne Farm is a unique 100 acre family run, working farm located in beautiful New Forest, Hampshire. The boutique style accommodation is crafted from reclaimed and natural material. The owners are passionate about sustainability growing fruit and veg onsite plus, fresh eggs can be collected from the chickens each morning for breakfast. They also use renewable energy for all their heating and hot water. It’s absolutely stunning and if not on a retreat it is definitely worth visiting for a weekend break.
Pip wanted to also support the local community and hired a local plant based chef called Magda from Vegan Magda who created the most incredible dishes every day.
If you are looking for yoga classes in Windsor, Berkshire or would like to attend one of Pip’s retreats, I would highly recommend them. Pip is a warm and hospitable host as well as being and incredibly knowledgeable yoga teacher. The weekend was so thoughtfully put together and all the delegates had the most wonderful and spiritual experience.
